Uhingen, Germany
I was born in 1982 in my Assyrian village Jinet (Cinet).
Jinet is in the south-east of Turkey, 20 km far away from the border to Syria, 50 km far away from the border to Iraq 250 km far away from Urmia.
Jinet is at the border of Tur Abdin.
The name Jinet derives from the aramaic word <<genta eden>>, the garden of eden.
When i was 4 years old, my parents and me were forced to leave our village.
My village was destroyed completely, no stone was left on the other.
By the way, we have never gained any form of compensation.
We flew to Germany in 1986
Now i am 42 years old, married since 20 years with my perfect wife Manuela. We have 3 daughters and 2 sons.
I have studied electrotechnology, catholic religion, pedagogics, informatics and syrian orthodox religion.
Since 2008 i am working as a teacher.
I also teach our Aramaic dialect of Botan in our church community.
I am living in Uhingen, that is near by Stuttgart in Germany.
My vision:
We Suraye (Assyrian Chaldean Aramean) are extremely threatened by extinction. In our homelands we have been expelled, in the western states we are facing assimilation.
We should not be divided in different names, we are all the same nation.
We Suraye have three ways to go:
1. we will go on like the last 100 years, fighting in hundred different organizations, fighting for different names. That way will end up in our annihilation.
2. we will unite as one nation to have a strong voice that can be heard in this world. But if we will not find some strong partners, then this way will also end up in our annihilation.
3. we will unite as one nation, we will find strong partners who support us, we demand our own autonomous territory with our own strong police. Then we will be able to live like other nations in this world, we will develop us, we will safe our language, religion, culture and history. We will have our own athletes at the Olympic games and our own soccer team at the soccer world cup. Our national anthem will be <<abun be shmoja>> and 2 billion Christians on the whole planet will sing with us our anthem.
I have written a manifest for our nation with the main points of our history and the main points for our future.

My name is Lewis Barkho, I am 46 years old and based in The Hague, the Netherlands.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from The Hague University. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and hiking.
As a member of the Dutch Assyrian Society, I help organize cultural events in collaboration with other organizations. These events aim to celebrate and promote our Assyrian identity.
I firmly believe that our Syriac (Suret) language is a vital cornerstone of our heritage, and we must do more to preserve and revive it for future generations.
Above all, I believe in the power of unity within our nation.

Ukraine
My name is Robert. I’m an 18-year-old Assyrian from Ukraine, currently living in Moscow, where I attend college to study math and logic. I’m deeply patriotic and committed to building a peaceful and secure future for the Assyrian people—one where we can one day achieve autonomy in our historic homeland, especially in Iraq.
I’m also passionate about preserving and teaching Sureth (the Assyrian language) to our communities in Europe and anywhere it's being lost. Language is our treasure—it holds our history, identity, and soul. I’m fluent in both ancient and modern Aramaic, and I believe that keeping our language alive is essential for our survival as a nation.
If you believe in our future, our language, and our right to exist and thrive—vote for me. Let’s build that future together.
